Accommodation Options
While our wedding will take place at Saccharum Resort & Spa, we are completely in favour of guests booking accommodation elsewhere.

Saccharum is a beautiful property, but we understand that it may not be the right fit for everyone. Madeira has many excellent hotels and apartments nearby at a wide range of price points, we want you to choose whatever option feels most comfortable and enjoyable for your stay.
What to get for wedding gifts?
As we are very appreciative of all the effort it takes to make it to our wedding, we do not expect any gifts. If you are still wanting to gift something for our nuptuals, we would be very grateful to be gifted money for our upcoming trip!
What can we expect of the wedding day?
We will have a shuttle service organized to bring you to our ceremony venue (approx. 1hr commute). The location will be outdoors and requires a slight hike up stairs. We recommend keeping this in mind when picking out footwear.
Transport back to the reception venue is also included with sightseeing stops planned for you during the drive back.
Once back at the Saccharum Resort, we will have a cocktail hour, a buffet style supper, loads of desserts, and we will end the night with an open bar. The celebration will end around 11pm.
